Tell us about yourself: who you are, where you're from, etc.

I was a political refugee, escaped from the Vietnamese Communist back in the year 1980. I settled in the U.S in 1982. I started my education over and graduated as an Electrical Engineer in 1990. I currently am retired. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I love gardening and meditating. I am tired of our current political system. I want a change and The Centrist Party is a change that I need for our country.

What does being a "Centrist" mean to you, and why did you get involved?

Being the Centrist is a philosophy that I am trying to achieve in many are of my life. The philosophy I want to achieve is called The Middle Way. So being a Centrist is a way of life that I am currently doing. However, this is the first time I actually join a political party since I settled my life in the U.S. I think we desperately need The Centrist Party acting as a flexible political frame to keep both the Democrat and the Republican in check. Without The Centrist Party our current political system will always be unstable.

What is a policy issue you are passionate about and why?

I am passionate to see a policy, which can hold the main two political party in shape so that this policy can bring out our strength and greatness in the world. I believe that The Centrist Party will grow into one of the main political party in our country soon.

How do you think we can unite our country and fix our politics?

The Centrist party's philosophy is being humble while striving to mix great ideas from the two main political parties with our own ideas. We are being humble to get along well with other political parties to serve our purpose. Our strong philosophy gives The Centrist Party its flexible and great enough political force to hold both Republican and Democrat in their correct position so that we can bring stability, prosperity, and peace to the country and our people.
