There are three types of internships: political, finance and communications:
Political interns will assist in executing day-to-day operations including state/district research and candidate recruitment.
Finance interns will develop and implement various fundraising strategies including donor prospecting and evening planning.
Communication interns will help create and carry out a comprehensive messaging strategies online and offline.
Internship duties vary depending upon what type of internship is selected, but typical duties include various social media activity, such as blogging, tweeting and Facebooking, research and writing, website maintenance, donor calls, event planning and many other exciting assignments.
All summer internships offered by the Centrist Project will be based in Denver, CO from early June to mid/late August and are full-time. Fall internships can be organized remotely at your college or university. Internships are unpaid but modest stipends to defray related expenses are available.
