I'm a father, husband, teacher and irritated citizen from Middletown, RI by way of Philadelphia, PA.
The idea of the "unparty" appeals to me, which is why the Centrist movement is so exciting. As a teacher I've seen the negative impact that the role of political socialization plays in our young people, and how the bifurcated media landscape further entrenches these ideas before they ever become independent thinkers. I'm involved because I'm fed up with the system, but believe there is an answer and this is a start. The idea of hacking the system this way is smart and long overdue.
Ranked choice voting, because it has potential in propelling independents forward in elections.
